hullo, hullo!
You may have read that one of my resolutions this year is to get back to making,
to take the time to create.
So, since I've had some interest in featuring the 10 Rooms headquarters on a rather fabulous venue,
(akkk!)
and I've got to get busy zhushing up the place,
it seemed like the time to was nigh to break out the paint brushes.
It's been a LONG time,
so please be gentle in your comments :)
Whether or not they are masterpieces, it felt wonderful to be playing with paint on canvas,
ans I think they are going to the the first of many more...
We got a foot of snow here last night,
and I have a consult across town, so off to shovel before heading out -
have a lovely day!
Ooohhh... now I'm so curious about the feature! And your paintings are fabulous! Love the one on the right.
ReplyDeleteLove them, particularly the square one. We had half an inch of ice on the car today - that was fun scraping!
ReplyDeleteI think they are wonderful! Besides as long as the artist is happy with them, it is easy to appreciate them. Good luck with the cross town trek...from experience down there it can be tough. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI love your paintings! I am SUCH a fan of DIY artwork. Many of the projects on my DIY projects page are art or artsy:

I think it's great when home owners pick up a paintbrush and personalize their home with DIY art.
LOVE the one on the right!!! :) here here to creating! :)
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing quite like expressing your creative side! I especially like the painting on the right side. Good on ya, girl!

ReplyDeleteOoh, the painting on the right is gorgeous! It reminds me of cardinals on a gray day :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the paintings. Maybe it will motivate me...we could certainly do with some snow here today. 32degrees and humid!
ReplyDeleteI've also tagged you in a round of TAG! You're It!

Your paintings look fantastic! Love the one on the right. Ah, shovelling! I certainly did enough of that in Muskoka! Must admit I'm not missing it! Although I did find it fun to drive through thick snow in our SUV.
ReplyDeleteFirst of, curious about the feature - how exciting. Second, love the art. Thirdly -LOVE your dogs! I have the same dog! Chocolate labs are the best. Last night my kids got him to sit on their sled and took him for rides. What an easy going animal!
ReplyDeleteI like the black & red paint the best! Beautiful! I've been thinking about having some time to paint too. My brushes are waiting for me =)
ReplyDeleteNice work...I bet you do get a lot of enjoyment from creating something beautiful.
