Are you a fan of linen, weathered woods, clean lines, coarse texture and aged patinas?
Look at these incredible rooms from South of Market, located in Atlanta and Charleston.
Owned by interior designer Kay Douglass, the shop found its beginning when she over-indulged on a buying trip to Europe (who wouldn't?!), and decided to find a spot to sell her wares.
What a great eye Kay has...
I am dying to have these in my kitchen - I found a DIY tutorial here if you'd like to join me in trying to make my own..just have to find the right baskets..
I love how she injects pops of colour to keep this from feeling static.
Scale reigns supreme..
This is so lovely! The yellow adds sucha friendly vibe.
I am working on the finishing touches for some linen slipcovers for my dining room chairs today, and it's not as easy as you'd think to get them to lie perfectly flat and smooth like this!
Lots of seam ripping and reworking :)
South of Market has so many items that will really add a bit of "special" to your space.
I am dying over these tables:
How about these? The sofa reminds me of a beautiful Montauk version, but that's another post!
These botanicals are exactly the feel of my dining room, which needs art, hmmmm...
The collection of planters is stunning, aged to perfection:
SOM: A wonderful array of pieces to warm up your space..
