Sept 30-Oct 3, at the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place
As well as tons of goodies, free one-on-one advice from Arido members and licensed builders,
there's a few other reasons to attend:
#1. all the fun boys will be there..
Colin and Justin will present in the Style Lab Oct 1 & 2, and I'm sure it will be highly entertaining :)
Scott McGillivray will be flashing those dimples, Karl Lohnes shares his legendary style know-how
#2 ..and some stylista's as well..
Candice Olsen, Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault talks colour trends, Jackie Morra offers decor tips
# 3 ..but the big story for me is the Habitat ReStore Recycled Dwelling.
An on-site home created completely of pieces that would have been sent to the landfill,
sourced form the Habitat for Humanity stores in TO.
The fabulous designer Melissa Davis of your Design Friend
will be hosting, offering her take on the sustainable trend.
Melissa, I'll just apologize now for bombarding you with questions!
So, if you would like a set of free tickets for the show
just tell me which of these spaces below
you prefer and why...
a random winner will be chosen on Monday, Sept 13

The last room is going straight into my inspiration file -
I never tire of loads of white, ultra-comfortable furniture, bits of color and animal prints, natural finishes and textures, treasures on display - pretty much sums up my fantasy family room!
off to meet D. for lunch - it's his birthday and our anniversary -
long story :)
hope you are having a fantastic wednesday..
til next time..

Love love love the entry in the second photo! So gorgeous and striking! What a great give away!
That entry made me pause! Holy wow. I'm ready to move in! You don't need to enter me in the contest, b/c I'm a bit too far away, but it sounds like loads of fun!
I like space #3 best because it's so calming.

Love Jason and Colin more than life itself
Ill be there tix winner or not! Best designers in the world! xxx
I love the second picture. The use of several shades of blue against the brown flooring really makes the colour pop. Love love the wallpaper!
The kitchen, definitely. The mix of the retro blue in such a contemporary style & finish -practically my dream kitchen!
The Family room is gorgeous and stylish. Always have loved white, but always have been too afraid to use it like that!
I LOVE the kitchen I feel like I have walked right in off of the beach and still have the sand on my feet. Contemporary yet a bit of nantucket, with hints of sleek modern lines. I want that kitchen.
Now to ship my husband out of my house for a week so I can get started..I can't even get him to paint and it's been 15 yrs ..uggh I need the home show to inspire him!!
I love the blue and white bedroom best...this suprises me because I hardly ever choose blue as a decorating colour. But there's something about the freshness of this room that I love.

The light blue kitchen is a dream!
I love it the most because it is simple to maintain. It doesn't look very "staged". A regular person could easily maintain it. The colours would keep a happy, positive atmosphere in the kitchen!
What a dream kitchen!
