Yay! It's done! Celebrating with a GIVEAWAY!

Between color consultations, those dandelions
and building the new website I've been away from blogging for a bit...

I miss reading about your exploits :)
There's going to have to be a day in the near future filled with tea and blog reading...

But, BIG NEWS,  as of today the site is officially launched, WOOHOO!!!

since you aren't here to share the wine, figs and prosciutto,
I thought maybe you'd like to try out one of my new online color consultations...

I'll help you choose paint colors for any room in your house, and it's on me :)

In order to win, just follow the blog, and check out the new 10 Rooms Design headquarters...
then come back and give me your feedback!

Please be honest,
if you think there's something that needs changing,
just tell me..

it's not like I spent hours on the design...
sweating each link and picture, engrossed in color and font choices, lol!

But really, if it could be more functional or pretty I do actually want to know :)

pics from here here here

The comments will be open until next Monday, May 30 and Tuesday I'll post the winner..

Hope you guys are having a fabulous day - x

I love the new site. Your prices are so affordable. I see a color consultation in my near future!!

PLus that header is to die for. I love all the different patterns and color. I'm especially in love with the A and the T!

Love the new site :) Your footer seems to appear twice on some of the pages and creates additional paragraphs (lots of white space). Or is something supposed to go there?? Otherwise, it is so lovely. Great pricing :)

Congratulations!! I love your new header AND the website. I just made my way through the whole thing. I know this is a small detail, but one of my favorite choices you made is for the "contact" form boxes to be pink. LOVE IT! My first thought was that you could double your prices, but only you can decide that. It seems like although you're being hired for color selection, that it will bleed into other things and I just don't want you taken advantage of. Just a thought from a fan! xo

P.S. I'll be over for figs and prosciutto in 6 hours. :-)

YES! I could use a colour consult. I was just thinking how I want to re-paint but living in a rental I can't change carpets, etc which I feel can dictate the colours on the wall!

I am SUCH an avid follower, so my fingers are crossed.

Love the new site too! Fab design:)

Love, love, love your new website design, Anne Marie! I've been following your blog for over a year and have been very impressed with your strong design skills. Your new website clearly reflects those strengths.

Just a couple of small suggestions for improvement:

On your Get Started page: you have a small typo: "Just fill our our", where I think you meant "Just fill out our".

Color at Work page: having the large photos + descriptors cycling through on their own is a bit disconcerting. It removes the navigation control from your user and may frustrate slow readers or those viewers who want to examine the photos in depth. I think that keeping the hotlink from the thumbnails to the individual pages is sufficient.

Sorry if these seem picky, but from my previous work on media design I'm well aware of the thousands of details that need to be addressed, as well as the importance of usability testing.

I'd *love* to win a free colour consultation from you! Am struggling with a strong urge to paint the interior of my open concept home, but need advice on which paint colours to choose and where to apply them.

Keep up the great work! A "fix" from reading your blog kickstarts my every day!

Sorry, Anne Marie, in re-reading my previous post I realized that I came off as a smarmy know-it-all. I meant to say that as a result of my previous position in media design, I'm well-aware of how much hard (and detailed) work you put into the re-design of your site. The comment about your Color at Work page is tied to usability issues and was not meant to be picky, but to hopefully make your wonderful site even more functional than it already is.

thanks for looking, guys!! @Nk-styling with children- had to make the site long to accommodate the profile form, I'm trying to find a way to change that....
@Abby and Carissa. thank you for thinking I'm worth more :) Still trying to keep this accessible for everyone, but I'll think about it! @ Creative Stage - I didn't think your comments were "smarmy" (love that word, lol) at all! I appreciate your honest opinions, ladies... I wasn't sold on the cycling images either, and am going to change that - thank you for the suggestion! x

Hi. Love your blog and love the new site. Like a few others, I think your online consultation prices seem low but I will not complain because it makes it affordable for people who could not always spend money on an in-home consult. I love looking at "before" and "afters" so I think it would be great if you could add more photos to that section eventually. Great work and congrats!
